Published on : 22 July 2021

937 extra addresses to be connected to IHR Telecom’s network in Haut-Richelieu and in Brome-Missisquoi.

The High speed internet Canada-Quebec Operation, is a partnership between Canadian government and Quebec government. This operation foresee to connect all the addresses to High-speed internet before September 30th 2022. IHR Telecom’s network is well deployed on Haut-Richelieu Regional County Municipality territory as well as in Brome-Missisquoi RCM with the ongoing project Connect to innovate as well as past projects such as Connecting Quebec and Connecting Canadians. The local NPO has been mandated to bring the High speed internet services to the addresses that have been identified as unserved in both RCM. With the ongoing deployment in Brome-Missisquoi, IHR Telecom’s is in a good place to make it happen in the delay requested.

The addresses that are concerned were not eligible in the deployment plan of the past projects in 2017. At the time, a home with 5 Mbps was considered to have access to High speed internet so it was not possible to included it in the deployment plans. High-speed internet is now 50 Mbps so it makes it possible to bring the services at these addresses now.

The citizens that are interested in IHR Telecom’s services are invited to call customer services at 450-346-0057 or toll free at 1 888-346-0057. The registration form is also available to be filled in the following link: Registration form
